EMP-Glass was founded in 1997 in Ilmenau, Germany, with a clear focus on electrically heated Platinum systems for the glass industry.
Today, we support glass manufacturers across Europe, the USA and Asia with custom-engineered solutions built for stability, precision and long-term performance.
Built on experience, grown through engineering
EMP-Glass began with a clear specialization: electrically heated Platinum systems for demanding glass-production applications. Over the years, the company has grown alongside its customers, expanding its technical capabilities, delivery scope and international reach.
In 2008, Dr. Miroslav Moravsky took over the ownership and leadership of the company, continuing its technical direction and strengthening its role as a specialized engineering partner for the glass industry. In 2014, the company moved its head office to Berlin to simplify cooperation with international customers and suppliers.

Since taking over the company in 2008, Dr. Moravsky has led EMP-Glass with a strong focus on technical precision, custom-engineered Platinum systems and long-term customer partnerships.
Mgr. Mojmir Moravsky
Joining as Managing Director in 2023, Mojmir Moravsky represents the second generation of leadership and supports the continued development of EMP-Glass for international glass manufacturers.
